The KA-BAR Limited Edition honours the South African Special Forces, known as “The Recces”, South Africa’s premier elite military unit, specialising in long-range combat reconnaissance, special operations and counter-insurgency, famed for using unconventional tactics and techniques on land, sea and air. The legend of the Recce commandos lives on, from their historical exploits to their outstanding bravery in peacekeeping operations across Africa today.

With every purchase of a Recce Edition product, a percentage of the sale is donated to support the veterans of the South African Special Forces Association.

The leather-handled Ka-Bar is manufactured to the exact specifications of the iconic KA-BAR USMC Fighting/Utility Knife, rugged, sharp and engraved with ‘KA-BAR OLEAN, N.Y.’ and lasered with the iconic RECCE logo.
